C-Note

NPG Records, 2004

Taking its name from the first letters of the five places in which its tracks were recorded — "Copenhagen," "Nagoya," "Osaka," "Tokyo," and an "Empty Room" — C-Note was a live album recorded by Prince and the New Power Generation during soundchecks on their massive One Nite Alone... Tour.

Incredibly, Prince released C-Note on the very same day as two new compilation albums, The Chocolate Invasion and The Slaughterhouse. All three releases were available exclusively through the online NPG Music Club, and were never issued on physical CDs.
